Welcome to March 2/ Day 2 in the Proverbs with me!
Here is what I stood out to me in Proverbs 2.
Scripture: Proverbs 2:12
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse.
Observation:
Focus on wisdom, on truth, as wickedness cannot stand up to the Lord, and the Lord will prevail.
Application:
In the midst of the wickedness I encounter in the world, it is important to keep my eyes and heart focused on truth. Although it may look like wickedness is winning at times, ultimately, eternally, it will not. Focusing on the truth will help me endure the wickedness I encounter and identify ways to honor the Lord.
Prayer:
Father God,
There is some scary stuff going down all over the place. Thank you for reminding me to focus on you, your will, your love, your wisdom. You’ve been here. You ARE here. And you love each and every one of us.
Thank you for this reminder to jump back into a daily practice of reading your word and journaling what I hear. Please continue to guide me as I seek wisdom from you daily. Please help others to do the same.
I love you and am grateful for the opportunity to so easily pop open a Bible and learn and for the opportunity to be in relationship with you.
